3 daily wins

I mentioned the importance of noting 3 daily wins. Even on the toughest days, you can usually find something. I just use a Notes app on my phone. Here are some of my examples:

The mundane:

8-Jun

  1. G staying settled while I hung up the laundry
  2. Playing in the garden
  3. G getting some sleep

 

30-Jun

  1. Making it home avoiding triggers
  2. G eating his dinner
  3. Poo in the garden

 

And then there are the slightly more exciting (to me) ones:

28-Jun

  1. G choosing to lie in the sun by himself giving me time to get dressed without drama
  2. A bird landing on the fence and G not reacting
  3. G seeing a person and looking at me

 

And the more recent (more significant) wins:

5-Oct

  1. Reaction-free walk
  2. Walking past two men within 10m
  3. Walking past a dog within 10m

 

You decide what your wins are. Try to recognise and celebrate them when you can.
